Hello, and how are you, my dear readers?
I'm sorry to say that I haven't done anything interesting these days due to the fact that I am still being affected by the flu, but worry not I'm sure that before the week ends I will be better.

How ever I don't want you guys to think that I'm going to leave you with just this as the last time.
Has any of you ever watched Japanese cartoons(Aka: Anime)? Well before you start thinking I'm just another guy that it's going start rambling about Naruto or DBZ, let me tell you that what I am going with this is that out there exist series that are pretty good in aspects other than gigantic bug eyes and seizure inducing fights.

Yes where I'm going with this is that various series or animated movies made in japan have a lot of good quality content being within the animation or the plot it self. And there are also series that they are mostly remembered by their top notch sound track.

To make the long story short, I want to tell you about a particular good series that even if the ending was a bit rushed, the impact it leaves is great and the messages of the series is good "food for thought".  It brought tears to my eyes at least two times, surely one of my all time favorites. I present you: Kaiba.

Even if the style is more cartoon-ish and simplistic than other series, it's a pretty good element in it as it helps to describe an otherwise cruel world or crude happenings more pleasingly, but doesn't in any way hinder the experience. If I dare to say so I even may say it enhances it, giving it an unique charm.
I wouldn't like to spoiler anything, but so I can get some of you interested  I will giving a small synopsis of the series (note this is copy pasted from wikipedia link to the full article in the bottom):

In the setting of the series, it is now possible to store memory data, so that the death of one's body is not actually "death". As memories are stored in databanks, they can be "transferred" to new bodies. Because of these developments, so-called "memory trading" now occurs and it is now possible to steal memories and illegally alter them.
Society in the world of Kaiba has fallen apart as authority has become lost and stagnant. In the skies are roiling clouds and electrical storms, impossible to pass without losing one's memories; above them lies the elusive realm of the rich and powerful, who barter others' bodies and memories for their own enjoyment and longevity. Below lies a troubled and dangerous world where good bodies are hard to come by and real money is scarce.
The series begin as a boy awakens in a ruined room. His name is Kaiba. He has no memories, but he does have a pendant with a picture of an unknown woman inside. After suddenly being attacked, Kaiba escapes into space, and during his travels meets all sorts of people and regains his memories. Throughout it, he continues to be troubled by the world's problems, as well as his own existence.

So to close this post I just want to say, see this. The charming style and animation, the characters, the setting, and the sound track (Oh the soundtrack! I love it!), make this a really good and complete series.

Also don't think I am just going to be talking about series all the time (But sometimes I will). Hoping you will be reading me next time, see ya!
